Just finished this book "The Sweet Hereafter", by Russell Banks, and holy crap, this book was amazing. Told from four perspectives, a bit like Rashoman, the story unfolds, in a sort of quasi-linear way through the four voices. Set in the Adirondacks, the story also gives a deep description of rural life and personae. Good stuff, highly recommend, curious about the movie.
Thanks to flynote.com/lisleetha for the recommendation.
