I got a little tired at work today, and decided to take a five minute break for a piping hot cup of coffee. I ran across the street to Conneticut muffin, paid for a small coffee, milk no sugar, and headed back to work. Glen, a shift supervisor at Starbucks (of course there is one right next door to my place of employment), caught my attention, so I headed over to talk to him. We spoke for a second, and then he pointed down the street to a little man who was conversing with a naked plastic baby doll. He was not only talking to the doll, but kissing it, stroking it, rocking it, and paying attention to it like it was a living human being. Another funny, yet disturbing thing, he placed in on top of one of those change eating mechanical horses. (you know, the mini rides we all enjoyed as children, that are usually outside of convenient stores, or supermarkets.) I couldn't help but laugh at him, and it was kind of great because he didn't care. It was kind of hard to tell whether or not he was insane, or just trying to get some attention. Either way, you have to hand it to the guy, it was quite a fantastic show. Just thought I had to share that.
