I saw this last week while the ball and chain was busy with her mom, and man was it ever one of the coolest things I've seen in the theater in many a moon. So much better than the original. The '59 version was so weak and dull. This one, I almost cried at the end, it was just so moving and shocking. I don't know, I guess I related to Bale's character, with the financial pressure, his willingness to do anything to get out of debt and take care of his family, along with his other motivations.
Anyone else here see it?
